Hey Ty I tried out the Mach Bouncer this weekend and got slammed by bass in under 15 mins…very sweet looking crankbait esp the blue gill color! Only issue I had was split rings and the lure did need to be tuned properly before use.

I have heard them called either warmouth or rock bass

When Tyler said it’s time for the ol faithful worm and it still didn’t work I felt that 😂 worms are my go to anyplace anytime and even though it doesn’t always save me from the skunk I’m never heading out without a pack of worms in my bag they just work (sometimes)

the best luck ive had with a shaky head is just a straight drag and reeling in the slack line. I love to throw a worm the is buoyant so it sits straight up in the water and floats while I drag it. I havent worked it in clear water because normally theres a lot of grass. but ive had some luck dragging a junebug in some very stained water on a rocky bottom. such an over looked presentation. during the summer I always have one on depending on where im fishing.

The other morning I finally was able to wake up early I had the perfect condition for top water bites early early morning overcast warm water and nothing was even showing signs of life at the lake until I decided to put a half ounce bullet weight on and Texas rig one of those turd looking baits that I bought but haven't tried them till now and I casted way out in the deep and then I finally started getting bites and cought a couple

The drop shot is so powerful! I always follow up an area that I caught fish with a drop shot especially if it’s a bottom contact type bait like a jig or something if I catch some fish on a jig I can usually pick up a few more (usually smaller) on the drop shot

As much as I hate to see folks NOT catching fish, especially guys that are as knowledgeable and experienced as yourself, in a way it’s kind of comforting to see I’m not the only one having tough days on multiple lures. Glad you didn’t get skunked though!

Live bluegill is a helpful tool as well, we should start letting tournament anglers use them to help catch more fish

I fish ponds like this all the time, and in my experience you can't go wrong with a good ole texas rig for these. By the looks of that first pond, a watermelon curly tail worm would've done awesome.

Fishing ponds in the Texas heat is brutal. I’ve been having luck finding bass in the creeks lately.

2 things- I notice that you and many other experienced anglers aren't using swivels or interlock type of connectors. Is there a reason? too visible? Also, I've heard of people removing the front treble hook on crank bait and just leaving it with one hook off the back end. Any thoughts on that?

Just starting the video, but, where I'm at, the pike and muskie populations have exploded on the lake I fish, bass population has seemed to have tanked alongside the pike and muskies boom.
